Earth Day 22th April 2008 Part 2

Herman gave me a very short notice about this celebration and asking me to invite other related hobbyist club or society to join. I was too excited and just remembered 2 forums at that moment. Jit Sing, the Vice President of Betta Society Malaysia and David, the founder of the Malaysia Carnivorous Plant club were informed by me immediately after i had met up with Herman. I would like to say David was very excited and attacking me with lot of questions like how big is the booth gonna be? How many friends can be there and help out?...etc.

While JS and David busy with their preparation. I was headache of where to get this chocolate gouramis, since none of the fish shop carrying this fish. Worst come to worst...I gonna be the robber of mother nature again. Yes...I have to drive 2 hours journey and spend hours to catch this fish from river. Guess of you thinking that getting this fish is easy. But i would like to say it is not. I will cover the story of this field trip later on.

TS, a cryptocoryne** collector from Singapore. Knew him since years ago. Down to earth and funny fella. Told me that he has just applied annual leave and want to come over to KL and join us. Glad that he can make it this time. But i gonna pick him up from Pudu bus station at 4am!

Pisces Lim, an only guy who studied Betta ** and graduated from UM or USM (Can't remember). He is very knowledgeable but very quiet and shy guy. It is great to have him to come over and help out in CP booth.

Both of them arrived in different time. But we had spent almost whole day (a day before the Zoo Negara Earth Day and Wetland celebration) in Tg Malim field trip.

Woke up at 6:30am. TS and Pisces were still in their sweet dream. I don't want to be late to Zoo Negara as I need to pick up Nasir also. I should take the photo of their sleeping position. haha.... Pisces was slept at 12:00am. Because of busy packing the freebies (Nepenthes sanguinea and some dosera seeds). TS was slept around that time too. As he was busy watching with National Geography in the Astro. Jason called up around 6:45am said he is on the way to my living place and picking us up to Zoo Negara. Glad that he has the Toyota Inova... Edmund called up at 7:30am said that he is arrived in Zoo Negara (while we were still busying upload aquarium, equipments and boxes into Jason's inova) And Terrance from CP club called up right after Edmund. Said he is arrived too. Oh man...you guys really making me nervious now!

While we are on the way to Nasir living place around 8am. And he is just woke up! Oh man... Pisces starting to take his stuff and upload to the car. Me...kicking Nasir and making him to move faster. Helping him to dismentle his ADA Cube Garden 90cm tank. As we need this champion tank for display.

It a cool morning... we reach at Zoo Negara at 8.30am...... The MIB(Man in Black) is David. He is running here and there to get his booth up.



Where are the misting coming from? Oh....it is from the entrance of the Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman.
